Walk
Awhile offer a select range of walking holidays in the heart of the Kent Countryside. |
| Our
walking holidays have been designed to meet the needs of a wide range of abilities
and can be adapted to suit specialist needs. Average distances travelled per day
are no more than 10 miles walking, but can be extended for the more ambitious.
Our range of holidays include 'Walking the Pilgrims Way' and 'Discovering
Rural Kent'. Holidays are self-led or guided and include daily Tracker support,
staying in quality B&B or Hotel accommodation. | | Walking
the Pilgrim's Way - North Downs Way
This walking holiday is from historic
Rochester Cathedral (only 45 minutes from London) to the magnificent walled city
and Cathedral of Canterbury. A large part of this walk takes the route used by
pilgrims in the middle ages. The walking holiday follows the North Downs Way National
Trail, and enables the walker to discover the hidden secrets of this ancient county
of Kent. This walking holiday along the North Downs Way takes you through some
of the oldest and finest villages in England. Discovering Rural Kent
This walk has been designed to help you discover the true heart of Kent, its countryside,
history and local crafts with special attention paid to the orchards, vineyards
and hop-gardens. This circular walk detours to find the nooks and crannies of
the county seldom visited by tourists or casual traveller. You are invited into
the heart of Kent and its fascinating backwaters. Pilgrims Way Christian
